It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Faye Elaine (Booker) Tokach which occurred at her home on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on September 9th, 1949, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Ethnee (Greer) Booker. Faye worked in various careers over the years- from Bookkeeping, Insurance, Sales and Elections Canada. She had a fierce work ethic and she was an extraordinary hard worker which she passed on to her daughters. Faye enjoyed camping at Pine Cone, travelling, spending her winters in Florida or just sitting in her chair at home with her diet Coke. Faye loved playing Bingo and Crib and she especially loved Christmas. Her door was always open for family and friends, she was a social butterfly and she genuinely cared about what was going on in peoples lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Faye is survived by her daughters Colleen and Carrie Tokach of Saint John; brother Paul Booker (Doreen) of Saint John; sisters Donna-Lee Bury of Woodmans Point; Kathy Parker (Jim) of Ontario; brother-in-law Bill Tokach of Saint John; sister-in-law Lorraine Booker-Michaelson of Grand Bay-Westfield; estranged sister Sharon Ross of PEI; life-long best friend Marilyn Holt of Florida; as well as many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews.
Along with her parents, Faye was predeceased by her husband Michael, brother Allan, mother-in-law Marion and brother-in-law Bill.
A special thank you to the Extra Mural Nurses, Dr. Webb, staff of SJRH-Oncology Department and Dr. Keripe for your kindness, care and compassion.
