Evelyn Marie Price

With sadness, the family of Evelyn Marie Price announces her peaceful passing on February 17, 2026, at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, NB, on April 22, 1941, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mel Harwood and Marie Totten Harwood Floyd.

Evelyn was known for her loving, generous spirit and her unwavering devotion to her family. She married the love of her life at just 15 years old, and together they grew up side by side, building a life filled with commitment, and love as they raised their family.

One of Evelyn’s proudest achievements was returning to school later in life to become a Personal Support Worker. She dedicated more than 20 years of compassionate service to residents at Loch Lomond Villa, a career that reflected her caring nature. Her determination and accomplishments were a source of great pride to her family.

Evelyn had a special love for animals and found joy in painting and crocheting in her spare time. She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the warmth she shared so freely with others.

Evelyn will be deeply missed by her sons, Stephen (Lori), Gary, and Terry (Sue); her cherished grandchildren, Jason (Lisa), Jolene (Mike), Tracy, and Brandon; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kyle, Chad, Carly, Ben, Jack, Aerial, and Tyson. She is also remembered by her sisters, Judy Mooers (Larry), Cheryl Sweet, Gloria Floyd; brother-in-law Jack Price (Judy); nephew Brent Mooers; along with several cousins.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Neil Price; her stepfather Lawrence Floyd; her infant brother; and her infant granddaughter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
