Elizabeth "Charlotte" Bannister

It is with sadness the family of Elizabeth “Charlotte” Bannister wishes to announce her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 13, 2019.  Born April 17th, 1952, in Saint John, she was one of five beloved daughters of the late Charles and Martha E. “Bessie” nee Weeks Bannister and also a twin sister to Charlene.  She was a graduate of Simonds High School  and went on to work many years between St. Joseph’s and Saint John Regional Hospital as a GW3. Charlotte had many hobbies and enjoyed baking, ceramics, stain glass creations; as well as going on many daily adventures with her friend Marjorie.

Charlotte is survived by her loving son Christopher Douglass, (Jessica) Sewell of Saint John, daughters; Tara Anne Sewell and Tracey Lynn Sewell of Saint John. Her sisters; Margaret (Ulric) Cormier, Christina (Eric) Winchester, Charlene Robinson, devoted brother in-law Earl Robinson, her sweet Aunt Margaret of Nova Scotia; as well as several nieces, nephews and her dearest friend Marjorie Sullivan.

Besides her parent, Charlotte was predeceased by her sister Linda Titus, her dear niece Debra “Debbie” Calvin and her truest companion Charlie dog.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424). Visitation will take place on Friday, July 19th from 12 noon until service time at 2 PM inside the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
