Elizabeth "Betty" O'Donnell Obituary

It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Anne (Ingersol) O’Donnell, which occurred on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on September 17th, 1944, in Saint John, NB, she is the daughter of the late Prince Edward and Anna (Hachey) Ingersol.  Elizabeth had various jobs throughout her career, however her biggest job of all was being a wonderful mother and raising her five children.  Betty enjoyed going to the casino, dancing, listening to old country music and singing.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her sons Jody O’Donnell (Tracy) and Wayne O’Donnell; daughter Heidi O’Donnell; brother Donnie Ingersol; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband Patrick, sons Patrick and Michael, sisters Shirley, June and Greta, brother William, grandson Danny and special friend Gary.

A special thank you to Dr. Luan Le for treating our mom like family and to Joanne for always being there.  Your kindness will not be forgotten.
