Elizabeth "Beth" Helen Whitney

With heavy hearts, the family of Beth Whitney announces her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Beth was born in Saint John on November 22, 1964; daughter of June Bertrand-Jamieson and the late Ernest Whitney, and the loving partner of Donald Mullen. Beth was a very caring individual; she enjoyed baking, spending time with family and friends, and spending time outdoors. She was known for her beautiful smile, and uncontrollable laughter. Along with her mother June, and partner Donald, Beth is survived by her sons Brandon Parks (Chelsey) and Michael Parks (Maria), brothers Stephen Whitney (Violet) and Dan McNeil (Tricia), cherished nieces and nephews, along with her best friends Kathy Scovil and Katrina Golding. Beth was pre-deceased by her father Ernest, and step-father Ronald Bertrand.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), where the family invites you to join them for a celebration of Beth’s life on Sunday, November 21st from 2-4 p.m. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Please note that due to the public health regulations placed on indoor gatherings, anyone attending Beth's celebration of life must provide proof of vaccination along with government issued ID, and masks must be worn at all times.
