It is with broken hearts that the family of Elizabeth Ann Daley announces her peaceful passing on January 13, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 3rd, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Connell) Fitzpatrick.
Elizabeth loved to cook and care for her family and especially doted on her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards and shopping.
Elizabeth is survived by her son: Maurice (Lindsay) Daley Jr. of Saint John; daughter: Doreen Daley of Saint John; daughter: Brenda Daley of Ottawa; brother: Arthur Fitzpatrick of Saint John; sister: Jean Pollock of Saint John; son-in-law: David Yorke of Fort McMurray; as well as grandchildren: Keith, Michael, Daniel, Elizabeth, Chelsea, Conor, Charlotte, and Cullen; as well as great-grandchildren: Landon and Alice. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Daley Sr., one daughter Regina Graves, one sister-in-law Doreen Fitzpatrick, one granddaughter Kristen Daley, one brother Charles Fitzpatrick Jr. and best friend Anita MacKay.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
