Elaine Frances Cooper

With broken hearts, the family of Elaine Frances Cooper announce her passing on May 8th 2026, at Tucker Hall in Lily Court (Saint John), surrounded by her loving family.

Born to the Late James Douglas and Frances (Murphy) Cooper on March 6th 1951 in Saint John. Elaine was a Career Teacher for over 25 years. She had many joys in life including Reading, watching her favourite mystery, game, and home and garden shows and her cats but she got the most joy from her grandbabies.

Elaine will be deeply missed by her daughters Amanda and Sara and their partners. She leaves behind her brothers James (Eleanor) and Stephen and her sisters Diane, Barbara (David) and Christine (John).

She will be forever missed by her grand babies Char, Jackson, and Henry.

Predeceased by her brother David.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Fundy Funeral Chapel on Wednesday May 13th at 10am followed by a reception. After which Elaine will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
