With heavy hearts, the family of Elaine Edith Andrews announces her peaceful passing on February 2, 2026. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on March 15, 1940. Elaine was the beloved daughter of the late Vaughn and Mary (Clarkson) Murphy and stepmother Mina Lister.
Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her children: Robin (Cathy) Wilcox, Tony Wilcox, Dale (Hillary) Campbell, and Cindy (Blanche) Andrews. She will also be deeply missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband George Andrews, brother’s Gerald, Bob, Wayne, sister June and grand daughter Cari Ann Sherwood.
Elaine enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and could often be found taking in a good game of bingo—whether at the bingo hall or playing along on television. She also loved knitting, crocheting, and trying her luck at word searches. Elaine had a creative eye for making flower arrangements and was a devoted Elvis fan. Above all else, she took great pride in her family. Elaine dedicated over 17 years of service as a commissionaire at Ridgewood.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).
