Edward Driscoll Obituary

It is with broken hearts that the family of Edward George Driscoll announce his passing on Tuesday July 2nd, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Ed was the beloved husband of Stacey Driscoll, a huge void for Stacey as not only did she lose her husband, but Ed was her absolute best friend. A proud father of his son Matt Driscoll and stepson Devon Dempster (Kendra), stepdaughter Emily Graves (Vince) and also a step daughter Katie. He was a cherished grandfather to his 4 special grandchildren, Lilly Dempster, Sean Dempster, Isabelle Graves and Erik Najjar. He will be dearly missed by his brother Randy Driscoll of Toronto Ont., and his sister Tammy Driscoll (Gary McGuigan) of Prince Edward Island. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Roberta Dempster, and brother-in-law Al Menard. Ed will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.  Ed was predeceased by his parents Wesley Driscoll and Betty (Smith) Driscoll and his sister Sue Power, sister Wendy Driscoll, brother Billy Driscoll, father-in-law Glen Dempster and brother-in-law Sean Dempster. He also leaves behind his cherished pets Ellie the dog, and his two cats Ginger and Gibbs.

In Ed’s working years he found a passion as a sprinkler fitter, working for B&G sprinkler, a job Ed loved, not to mention everyone he worked with.  Ed was a kind soul, often putting everyone else’s needs above his own. He was a gentle man and was always there for anyone no matter the time of day.  Ed loved his “BIG GREEN TRACTOR” his John Deere, often found driving around his subdivision mowing neighbor’s lawns often breaking down until he had enough and purchased a new one.   In his younger years Ed could be found playing hockey and watching his favorite team the Boston Bruins play. Ed enjoyed spending time in the woods as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a proud member of the community, winning the Snow Angel award from the City of Saint John. Ed and Stacey especially loved their game night with great friends Sean and Linda playing a good game of Skipbo
