Edna G. Bennett

It is with great sorrow the family of Edna G. Bennett announce her passing on Thursday, May 22 2025 at the age of 100.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Wesley Bennett.  Her loss will be deeply felt by her son Wayne (Helena) Bennett, by her grandchildren Lisa, Sheryl, Aaron, David and Wesley, by her great-grandchildren Sebastian, Gracen, Adam, Neil and Hunter as well as her 6 great-great-grandchildren.  Edna is predeceased by her parents Florence and Ernest Greer, daughters Diana vonWeiler and Leota Bennett and her brother Newman Greer (Lois).  

Edna was a member of the United Baptist Church in St. Martins, the Baptist Ladies Guild and the LOBA Lodge 1190.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 28th from 12-1 PM.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 PM.  Interment Oceanview Memorial Gardens.  For those that wish donations in memory of Edna may be made to a charity that is close to your heart.
