Edith Loraine Jones

With heavy hearts, the family of Edith Jones announces her passing, which occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa on Wednesday, November 30th. Born in Saint John on November 3rd, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Dorcas Jones. Edith had an incredible love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother Daryl (Sharon), sisters Audrey Titus (John) and Marjorie (the late Robert), sister-in-law Debra Jones, along with several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Edith was pre-deceased by her brothers Hartley and Donald. Edith’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Sandra Ferris at Colton’s Care Home, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Loch Lomond Villa – Elm House for their excellent care and compassion.
 

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 5th at 10:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
