E. Harold Jenkins

On July 13, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that the family of Harold Jenkins announce his passing. Born on August 16, 1940, Harold was the son of the late Murray and Myrtle Jenkins. In his early years, he went to work to help his mother raise his two brothers. He became a well -respected self-employed flooring installer until illness disrupted his working life. Always the avid fisherman and camper, he loved to travel on many spur of the moment trips from Newfoundland to Ontario.

Harold is survived by his wife Marlene (Seymour) Jenkins, his children Michelle (Dwayne) Chatterton and  Catherine (Dale) Yeomans, his brother Wayne (Melina) Jenkins, sister-in-laws Sharon (David) Robichaud, Nancy (Joe) Ledoux and Bonnie Jenkins, grandchildren Justin, Brandon, Riley, Jessica and Melissa and great children Benjamin, Ava, Alina, Ayden, Brooke and Tayven, many nieces and nephews and close family friends Doreen Smith and Mary Gorman and his loving fur companion, Katie the cat. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by his brother Donald Jenkins.

As result of COVID-19 restrictions, a private family Celebration of Life will be held for Harold on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Hammond River Angling Association Conservation Centre for invited guests.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that remembrances be made in the form of doing a good deed for someone in need.
