Dylon Jerry Lavigne

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected death of Dylon Jerry Lavigne, at the age of 31, which occurred on July 28, 2025. Born in Saint John, NB on December 5, 1993, he is the son of Jerry and Deborah (nee. Hannington) Lavigne.

Dylon is survived by his father Jerry Lavigne; mother Deborah Lavigne; sister Caitlin Gaudet (Justin Maidment); niece Kinsley; nephews Brayden and Nolan; Aunt Susan and Aunt Debbie; close cousins: Kevin, Terry (Jennifer Marie), Aidan, Ethan, Addison, Kacey, Kali, Mackenzie, and Jakob; special friends: Brandon Lavoie-Trites, Catie MacNeill, Jason Frigeault, and Kayden Frigeault; as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Dylon was an amazing person who cared for his family and friends deeply. He always looked forward to spending time with his niece and nephews. Dylon was an avid hunter and fisher, a hobby he shared with his father. He was a car enthusiast who took pride in his cars and enjoyed attending car shows. In his down time, Dylon would be found relaxing with his cats Finn and Hunter watching a movie on Netflix or playing video games with his friends.

Most people would describe Dylon as a hard worker, a trusting friend, and a man with a heart of gold. Whether you wanted to go for a long country road drive with a coffee or needed a shoulder to lean on, he was the fella you could call. Anyone who needed a helping hand Dylon would step up without hesitation. He faced all life’s challenge with courage and confidence. Knowing how challenging life can be at times, he lent a helping hand to assist others face there’s too. To the people that knew him they were grateful they did, and to the ones that didn’t, they feel his compassion and care from the memories shared by his loved ones.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3; (506) 646-2424 visitation for Dylon will be on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 12:00 PM.
