Dorothy Emma St. Croix

It is with broken hearts, the family of Dorothy Emma (Hodgin) St. Croix, loving wife of the late Kenneth St. Croix, wish to announce her passing which occurred on October 2, 2025, at her home.  Born in Saint John, on December 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John and Dolly (Lynch) Hodgin.

Dorothy worked with NCH for over 32 years.  She was a member or St Pius X Church (now Holy Redeemer Parish) and was one of the 4 founding members of the Martha’s Guild.  She loved Bingo and fondly remembered the camping trips with her ‘camp girls.’  Most important were family times such as watching Little House on the Prairie with her daughters.

She loved all animals, especially the family pets, canine Stallone, feline Angel and dragon Happy.

She is survived by her daughter, Theshea (Jason Mills) and Shannon (Tarek Harzallah), her sisters, Mary LeBlanc (Gary) and Beatrice MacDonald (Allan), her grandsons, Stephen Rowe and Nelson Torres, great-granddaughter Ava Torres, best friend and bingo buddy, Janice Martin, special niece Sarah Breen, along with her cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A special thank you to her friends at Stevenson Tower and for the in-home care she received from Kindred Home Care Services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, 506-646-2424.  At her request, following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Holy Redeemer Church Hall, from 3-6PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025.  Remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
