Dorothy Marie Humphrey

It is with great sorrow the family of Dorothy Marie Humphrey announces her passing on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Turnbull Nursing Home.  Born in Saint John on December 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Emma and Cecil Hartin.  In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Harold M. Humphrey; brothers Gordon, Clifford and Cecil Hartin and sister Edna Cuthburtson.  Left to grieve her loss are her children, Sandra (Gerry) Vautour, John (Marie) Humphrey and Steve (June) Humphrey; grandchildren Laura Vautour (Mike Green), Steve Vautour, Matthew Humphrey (Melanie Richard), Sarah Humphrey (Tyrone Gagnon) and Kyle Humphrey (Monique Arnold); great granddaughters Hallee Humphrey and Georgia Humphrey; sister-in-law Laura Hartin, several nieces and nephews and very special friends Evelyn and Les.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors and staff of Turnbull Nursing Home for their dedicated care of Dorothy during the past three years.  Your thoughtfulness and compassion are much appreciated and will be forever remembered.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB.  In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
