Dorina Northrup

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dorina Northrup, loving wife of Richard Northrup, wish to announce her passing which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice, on July 11, 2025.  Born March 4, 1954, in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Azade and the late Alice (Chaisson) Arseneault.

She had a 45-year career with Irving Oil Ltd, her only employer.  From a young age she had a great love for horses, which she shared with her sister.  She took great pride in showing Quarter horses winning many awards over the years.

Besides her husband Richard, she is survived by her son Andrew and her daughter Jacklyn Northrup, brothers; Richard, Paul (Jean Lewis) and Oliver Arseneault, sisters Diana Arseneault and Anita DeSilva (Paul), along with several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers; John and Theodore (Ted) Arseneault, and her sister, Rita Arseneault.

Visitation will take place at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424), from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday, July 14, 2025.  The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from the Fundy Chapel at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Bobby’s Hospice, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
