Doreen Florida Clark

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Doreen Florida (Richard)Clark announces her passing which occurred on Monday, June 15, 2020 peacefully at her residence. Born on March 9, 1950 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Gallant) Richard.

Doreen lived her life as a very caring, loving and generous person. She was devoted to her family and friends. Doreen loved taking day trips and spending quality time with her family. She was known as a hard worker and enjoyed volunteering at the Milford Community Center. She spent many years working in London, England at the Canadian High Commission in the passport division.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 51 years, Robert Clark, her son; Christopher Clark, daughters; Tammy (John) Clark Lavigne and Robin (Dennis) Sonier, grandchildren; Patrick, Adam, Emma (Jordan), Michael and one great-granddaughter; Haley, her brothers; David (Janita) Richard, Fernand (Yvette) Richard, Wilfred (Audrey) Richard, Yvon (Janet) Richard, Edward (Linda) Richard and sister; Stella (Carol) Richard; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Krista Clark.

Arrangements are the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. Due to current health restrictions, a private graveside service will be held for family and close friends, by invitation only.

The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to Barb Wilson and the nurses of the Extra Mural Program in Saint John for their kindness and care towards Doreen over the years.
