Dora Marie Gautreau

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dora Marie (LeBreton) Gautreau announces her passing that occurred on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Rocmaura Nursing Home at the age of 77. Born  February 11, 1942 in Six Road, Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Azade LeBreton and Edmée Kerry.

Dora worked at Sampan and La Belle Vie restaurants. She was a devoted and caring full time stay at home mom and was also a babysitter for numerous kids in the neighbourhood. She was the caregiver for her son Mario for many years.

She is survived by one daughter Lisa Gautreau-Burgess (Ian), Lisa's father Antonio “Tony”; 3 grandchildren Drew (Amanda), Stephanie (Kevin), Robert (Kylie); 2 special great-grandchildren dear to her heart, Tyson and Kwame; sister Gina (Alcide) and godson Gino (Berthe).

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Mario; sisters Therese, Mildred, Gertrude, Agnes and Evelyne; brothers Wesley, Wallace and Walter and siblings in infancy, baby Gertrude and baby Webb.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Friday November 8, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Saturday November 9, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will follow in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Rocmaura Foundation.
