It is with heavy hearts, the family of Donald James Wallace, loving and devoted husband to Shirley Elizabeth (Dineen) Wallace, announces his passing which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, NB on January 4, 1941 he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (LeBlanc) Wallace. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Gerald, Charles, William, Joseph, Leonard and Norman; sisters Emma (Penny) Williams and Helen Allen.
In addition to his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Shirley, he is survived by his daughter Terri Wallace-Scott (Christopher) and son Scott Wallace; cherished grandchildren Andrew, Adam, Aaron and Alex; brothers Leo Wallace and Art Wallace (Marie); sisters Gladys Williams, Shirley Ann Daigle and Alice Wallace; many nieces and nephews.
Donnie was a hard worker all his life, he had worked for Moosehead Breweries, Gulf Operators and Walcott Machining. He was a well know musician and entertainer playing at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69. Donnie enjoyed metal detecting with his son Scott, he loved the outdoors and his beloved homestead Randolph.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Donnie may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
