Donald Bernard McLaughlin

The family of Donald Bernard McLaughlin are deeply saddened to announce his passing which occurred on December 27, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Arthur B. and Florence (Hannah) McLaughlin.

Don was a long time employee of the NBLCC. He was a lover of NASCAR and was an avid collector of such things as coins, beer steins and Hot Wheels. Don loved music especially the Blues and Rock'n Roll.

He is survived by his step-daughter Cassie McLaughlin (Derrick), his brothers; Danny (Anne Marie) and Pat (Denise), his sisters; Cathy McLaughlin and Jacqueline McPhee (Dan), all of Saint John, his aunt Patsy Hannah, uncles; Jimmy Hannah, Joe Hannah (Eileen) and John McLaughlin, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation there will be a celebration of life at The HOPE Center on Saturday January 4th, 2020 from 3:30 to 6:30.. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
