Donald Wayne Garnett

The family of Donald Wayne Garnett are saddened to announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 11, 2020.  Born in Saint John on August 13, 1950 he was the son of the late Donald and Doris (Fowler) Garnett.

He worked as the asphalt plant operator at Classic Construction until his retirement.  He was also a member of Local #900. He enjoyed spending his time in his garage and enjoyed any friends that would always stop up, especially his visits every year on his birthday and Christmas with Gerald. 

He is survived by his loving wife Linda (Arsenault), his son Tony (Carrie), his daughter Tammy Rowe (Kevin), his sister Gail Grimmer (Donald), his grandchildren; Bradley, Lindsey, Kaitlyn and Brandon; great-grandchildren; Hunter, Mason, Ryker, Abbagail and Isla; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Linda Dryden.  

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  At his request cremation will take place without visitation or a service. An open house will be held Saturday January 18 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 1367 Golden Grove Road.  Remembrances made to the SPCA would be appreciated.
