Donald Gordon Clements

It is with great sadness the family of Donald Gordon Clements, loving husband of Anne (Trott) Clements, announce his passing which occurred on February 14, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born in Saint John, on September 14, 1951, he was the son of the late Gordon and Beatrice (Speight) Clements.

Don was first and foremost a family man and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He was a avid fisherman, enjoying the Miramichi, and he shared this passion with his grandson Owen.  He was a jack of all trades.  He was dedicated employee with Irving Oil as a TnT Technician retiring in 2009. 

Besides his wife Anne, he is survived by his daughters; Lesley Clements and Lori McGarrigle (Brent), his brothers; Danny (Donna), Robert (Janice) and Richard (Annette), his sisters; Judith Carleton, Dale McCarthy and Roxanne (Danny) Burchill, his grandchildren; Emily and Owen, special cousins Donnie and Irene McCormack along with several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his infant son, sister Tammy Dort, sister-in-law Sharon Clements and brothers-in-law; Roy Carleton and Ron McCarthy.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), with visiting from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday, February 17, 2020.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.  Remembrance to the Crohn's and Colitis Canada or the NB Lung Association would be appreciated.
