It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Dianne Rose Wills, which occurred on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home. Born on August 27, 1946, in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Bertha (Doucet) Burden.
Dianne is lovingly remembered by her son, Wesley (Sally); her grandson, Kyle Gabriel; her sister, Jane McNulty; her brother-in-law, Chris Abbott; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Besides her parents, Dianne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stewart Wills, and their daughter, Patricia Lynn Wills.
Dianne dedicated more than 31 years of service as a custodian with School District 8, later Anglophone South School District, where she was a proud union member throughout her career.
A woman devoted to her faith, Dianne was a faithful member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church and a former member of the church choir. She found great joy in music, arts and crafts, and spending time with those she loved. Above all else, Dianne treasured her family and friends, whose love and companionship were the foundation of her life.
A sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Dogwood House at Loch Lomond Villa for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Dianne and our entire family. Your kindness, support, and dedication will never be forgotten.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Dianne will be resting at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Liturgy, which will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.
For those who wish, memorial donations in Dianne's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
