Dad passed peacefully at Rocmaura Nursing Home in Saint John on Nov 7 2025 joining Mom, who passed June 23, 2020 in their heavenly home. This parting was the only time the two of them were separated since their marriage on Oct 23, 1965.
Born in Sussex, NB on Jan 12, 1946, He was the son of Theodore and Flossie (Linden) Anderson. Dad and Mom met at the age of 14 in Moncton NB. When Mom’s family moved to the USA, Dad followed her and her family. He and Mom, Mireille (Bourdages)Anderson, married in a triple wedding in Gardner Massachusetts with Mom’s two brothers and their brides. Mom always said her two brothers were too chicken to get married by themselves and asked if they could join them. This was the first triple wedding ever held at the Holy Rosary Church. Dad and Mom began their little family, having 2 beautiful redheaded girls, and later moved to Canada where they lived for the entirety of their lives.
Survived by his daughters, Christine(Stewart) Anderson and Lynn (Christopher) McPhee, grandchildren Lacey(Brad) Diotte and Cody (Emily) McPhee, and great grandchildren Luke and Kori Diotte, siblings Carl(Maggie) Anderson, Kevin(Anne) Anderson, and Yvonne Anderson, siblings in law France and Marge Richard, Yvonne Bourdages, Delia Bourdages, Sandy Bourdages, Barbara Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Mireille Anderson, parents Theodore and Flossie, siblings Paul, Delbert, Morris and Carol, siblings in law Guy, Eves, Marcel, Aurel, Claude, Roger, Nicole, Eddy, Bernadette and Claudette.
Many thanks to the compassionate and caring staff who lovingly cared for Dad for the 3 years he lived at Rocmaura. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rocmaura Foundation would be greatly appreciated in honor of Dad.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). The internment ceremony will take place November 21, 2025 @ 1pm at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery at 480 Amirault Street, Dieppe, officiated by Father Bourque.
