Dennis Skinner

With heavy hearts, the family of Dennis Skinner announces his passing, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on May 1st, 2020. Born in Brantford, ON on June 30, 1940, he was the son of the late Norman and Gertrude (Hill) Skinner, and the loving husband of Jean (Flynn) Skinner. Dennis proudly served his country with the Royal Canadian Air Force, retiring in 1986. Along with his wife Jean, Dennis is survived by his son Daniel (Randy) of Bracebridge, ON, daughter Barbara LeClair (Shawn Yarrow) of Kitchener, ON, and sister Brenda Sheppard of North Bay. In addition to his parents, Dennis was pre-deceased by his brothers Danny, Terry, and Wayne. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). In keeping with Dennis’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
