Denis Doucet

It's with profound sadness that the family of Denis Doucet announces his passing on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the age of 78 years old. Born in Allardville NB, he was the beloved son of the late Elide Doucet and Bernadette Fitzhabert.

With his strong Christian faith and his big heart, Denis was always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone who needed it, and dedicated 17 years of his life as a volunteer for Outflow. A lover of detailing cars, his lifelong dream was to be the owner of a detailing company.

He will be sadly missed by his longtime girlfriend: Sharon Wilcox; his sons: Michael Doucet and Emile Doucet; His sister: Rose True: His niece: Tina McGraw(Frank Mcgraw); his grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special nieces Jessica Leger, Mariah McGraw and Rackuel Sharkey who he loved like his grandchildren. Life long friends Jayme Hall and Phil Appleby.

Beside his parents, Denis was predeceased by his brothers: Walter Savoie and Emile Doucet; And one sister: Edith Coston.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. Saint John, NB E2J 2G3; (506)646-2424. Visitation for Denis will be held on Friday, September 5th, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11:00am at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 101 Coburg Street. Followed by a potluck.
