Debra F. Morin

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Debra Freda Morin, which occurred on Monday, November 24th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on February 11th, 1962, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Lawrence and Maria (Cormier) Morin.  Debra enjoyed playing cards and she loved horses.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Debra is survived by her son Chris Morin of Saint John; siblings David (Angela) of Black River, Sharon of Quebec, Michael of Saint John, Lawrence (Heather) of Saint John, Cathy (Norman) of Saint John, Kenneth (Arnette) of California, Trevor (Tanya) of Black River; grandchildren Austin and Michael Morin; special friend Roy Stevens; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Debra was predeceased by her common-law partner Franklin Mitchell and brothers Mark and Eric.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  As per Debra’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Donations in memory of Debra may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
