Deborah Colleen Hayes

With heavy hearts, the family of Deborah Colleen Hayes announces her unexpected passing on May 12, 2026.

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on April 13, 1952, Deborah was the beloved daughter of the late James Harold and Evelyn (Jackson) Doyle

Deborah will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tracy (Joe) McIntyre, Lori Hayes, and Scott Hayes (Jamie Harley); grand children Madelaine, Olivia, Benjamin, Alyssa, Logan, Christian, Alyssa, Cody and Tyler; great grand daughter Novah. Also left to mourn her loss is her brother Terrance (Ellen) Doyle, and sister Linda (Bernie) Ough. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Deborah was a wonderfully genuine person — honest and straightforward, always letting you know exactly where you stood with her. Alongside her strong and caring nature was a joyful spirit; she loved to laugh, have fun, and share special moments with those she loved. Family meant everything to Deborah, and she found great happiness in caring for others. She was also an avid reader who appreciated life’s quieter moments, often content to curl up on the couch with a good book.

Aside from her parents Deborah is predeceased by her brother William Doyle; sisters Constance Crowley, Christina Doyle and Judy Cameron.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Visitation will take place on Friday May 15, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8.
