Dawson Allen Moyer

It is with great sorrow that the family of Dawson Allen Moyer announces his passing on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Dawson was the beloved husband of the late Elenore Moyer. His loss will be deeply felt by his son, Christopher Andrew Moyer, and his wife, Gillian. He will also be dearly missed by many extended family members and friends. Dawson was predeceased by his parents, Ida and James Moyer, and by his brother, Dallas Moyer.

Dawson loved working for the CPR and had a lifelong love of trains, a passion passed down from his father and grandfather. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Shriners, and the Philip A. Jerquson Chapel No. 18.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB, 506-646-2424. Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Those in attendance are invited to join the family for Masonic Rites, which will take place in the visitation room at 6:00 p.m. that evening.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s and St. Bartholomew’s Church, 646 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB.  For those who wish, donations to The War Amps CHAMP Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.
