David “Buddy” Michael Howe

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Michael Howe, also known to many as Buddy, into the arms of his loving Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on December 5, 2025, at the age of 74. He was a loving and devoted husband of 36 years to his wife, Marlene Howe.

David was born on December 17, 1950 in Halifax, NS to the late Catherine and Barrington Howe. David was trained as a Professional Cleaner in Halifax and was employed as such for 25 years. In his later years he was employed at Wal-Mart for 10 years before retiring.

David attended Northside Assembly Church for 6 years. David was a licensed Minister with Pentecostal Holiness of Canada. He took part in ministering to those who were incarcerated for many years. He also ministered at the Turnbull Nursing Home and enjoyed going to the hospital to Minister to the sick.

David loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart, mind and soul and he loved Eleana and Tyneisha with all his heart. He was a mighty man of God and a mighty prayer warrior and fulfilled his mission of praying for and with many people and leading them to Christ and you could always find David asking one big question to whoever the Lord directed him to "Do you know Jesus Christ". He loved the Word of God and studied it daily and had many Bibles and if you were going through any trials in life he always had a scripture to encourage you and a loving word from the Lord.

Besides his loving wife Marlene, David is survived by his daughter Eleana Roche, his granddaughter Tyneisha Roche, his siblings, Donalda (Rick) Maclsaac, Lisa Howe and Russell Howe and nephews Jacob and Michah Maclsaac and niece Sarah (Kat) Maclsaac.

David was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Barrington Howe, siblings Helen Legault, Sydney Howe, Paul Howe and Peter Howe and special nephew Kaleb Howe.

A wake will take place on December 11th, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. A celebration of David's Life will take place at Northside Assembly Church, 363 Millidge Avenue, Saint John, NB on December 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
