Darren Arlington Whitebone

With heavy hearts, the family of Darren Arlington Whitebone shares the heartbreaking news of his unexpected passing on July 17, 2025, at his home. Born on October 24, 1974, Darren was the beloved son of David Whitebone (Tammy) and the late Brenda Davidson.

Darren carried within him a deep love for his children, whom he was immensely proud of. A naturally gifted musician, Darren played the guitar beautifully and possessed a voice that moved those fortunate enough to hear it, though he often kept his talent hidden. One cherished recording remains — a heartfelt memory his family will hold dear forever.

Darren loved playing pool, drawing and watching movies. He had a deep appreciation for classic cars and motorcycles and loved working on them.  He loved the outdoors and found peace in nature, especially by the beach, where he loved to spend time.

Darren will be forever remembered and deeply missed his father and step mother David and Tammy Whitebone; his son Kyle Edison and daughter Isla Whitebone; his brothers Keith Whitebone (Jill) and Christopher Howe; his sister Vanessa Alexander (Jamie); his niece Casey Whitebone, and nephews Keenan Whitebone and Evan Alexander; his spouse Robin Dagenais; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.

He is now reunited with his beloved mother Brenda, his maternal grandparents Bud and Dorothy Davidson, and his paternal grandparents William and Dorothy Whitebone.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
