Darcy John Walsh

With heavy hearts, the family of Darcy John Walsh announces his passing on February 4, 2026. Born in Tracadie, New Brunswick, on March 13, 1941, Darcy was the beloved son of the late Walter and Merilda (Richard) Walsh.

Darcy will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Maureen Walsh (Denis Doiron), Barbara Walsh, and Aaron Walsh, as well as by his cherished grandchildren, Sascha Walsh, Melanie Walsh, and Chelsea Walsh along with his extended family members of the Breau/Sonier family. 

An active and outgoing person, Darcy found great joy in spending time with his family, whether biking, skating, or simply enjoying the outdoors. He valued friendship deeply and maintained close relationships throughout his life, while also making many new friends during his regular visits to the mall.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). In keeping with Darcy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Those wishing to make a donation in Darcy’s memory may do so to the Alzheimer’s Association, the Dementia Foundation, or a charity of their choice.
