Daniel "Dan" John Guimond

It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved brother and son, Daniel John Guimond on March 13, 2025. Born September 26, 1967, in Saint John to MaryAnn Ward and the late William Guimond.

Daniel, often went by Dan or Danny, was a happy go lucky kind of guy willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a huge heart of gold. Dan worked at Saint John Spring Works off and on throughout the years.

He enjoyed working on vehicles and was quite the entrepreneur, always looking for ways to keep busy and make money. Over the years he operated a taxi business, a courier business and a used car dealership. Dan's greatest passion was going out biking on his motorcycle with friends and family every chance he had.
Dan loved his children and stepchildren and would do anything for them. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings. Dan also enjoyed a friendly game of poker.

Daniel is survived by his ex-wife Melissa Guimond of Saint John; siblings: Lorraine (Kevin) Quick of Quispamsis, William Guimond (Judy Green) of Norton, Angel Fox (Serge LesGresley) of Riverview, Carla Stilwell of Quispamsis, and Nina Marshall of Barnesville; children: Marina Burke, Laura Fenton, Felicia Bastian, Bailey Guimond, Taylor Guimond; stepdaughter Mykayla Spinney; grandchildren: Brielle, Calem, Jeremiah, and Jordan; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Daniel Guimond, father William Guimond, grandmother's Emma Guimond and Hilda Molin, and step father Richard Ward.

Daniel will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3; (506) 646-2424. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life for Dan will follow in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel starting at 2:00PM.
