Dale Dixon Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of Dale Carmen Dixon, announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, May 14th, 2023, at his residence in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Born in Andover, New Brunswick on September 8, 1942, he was a son of the late Emery and Violet (Baker) Dixon.

Dale spent much of his working career with the Town of Woodstock. He will be remembered as a quiet and hardworking individual who enjoyed watching hockey and boxing. Dale also shared a passion for gardening and genealogy. Above all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Margie (Hay) Dixon, along with his children, Dale E. Dixon, Pamela (Ronald) Inman and Nicole (David) Carr. He is also remembered by his brother Arnold (Elaine) Dixon and sister Sandra Dixon.

Also left to mourn are his 8 grandchildren; Megan, Angela, Nathan (their mother Kay),  Austin, Ashlyn, Haley, Coralee and Katie and 2 great grandchildren; Owen and Jaxon.

In addition to his parents, Dale is predeceased by his sister Sharon Kinney.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In keeping with Dale’s wishes, no formal visitation or funeral service will be taking place.
