Craig M. MacLeod

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Craig Murray MacLeod, which occurred on Monday, May 4th, 2026.  Born on August 18th, 1956, in Sydney, NS, he is the son of the late Danny and Marjorie (Walker) MacLeod.  Craig had a long career with IGA which brought him to Saint John.  He began working in the car industry at Brunswick Chrysler then spent over 24 years with Dobson Chrysler Dodge which became family to him. He had a great love for cars and sports, especially Nascar with a dodge racing.  He loved chatting about weather and gas prices. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

Craig is survived by his brothers Peter MacLeod of British Columbia, Phillip MacLeod (Linda) of Sydney River, NS; sisters Florence Ann Murphy and Kym MacLeod both of Sydney River, NS; nieces and nephews Tonya, Yolanda, Christina, Kennedy, Sydney and Carter; as well as many friends.  Along with his parents, Craig was predeceased by his brother Sandy and brother-in-law Blair.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Saturday, May 16th from 1 to 2 p.m.  A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel beginning at 2 p.m.  Interment will take place in Nova Scotia at a later date.  Donations in memory of Craig may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation, John T. McMillan Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
