Colleen M. Mantle

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Colleen Marie (Little) Mantle which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Saturday, June 1st, 2019.  Born on July 26th, 1930, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Delucry) Little.  Colleen was a member of the CWL and the Rocmaura Women’s Auxiliary.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband Thomas Mantle of 66 years; daughter Diane Sullivan (Bruce); sons Rick Mantle (Diane), Edward Mantle (Claire) all of Saint John and Patrick Mantle (Sheila) of Ontario; precious grandchildren Susan May (Dennis), Matthew Sullivan (Sarah), Grant Mantle (Jill), Jacqueline Mantle, Chelsea Mantle, Caitlin Mantle, Gregory Mantle, Kristen Laur, Tony Laur; as well as 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her 3 sisters Eleanor Horgan, Christina Black and Elizabeth Bowes; as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.  Besides her parents, Colleen was predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, June 4th from 2 to 8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Spirit Parish St. Rose Worship Site (541 Milford Rd.) on Wednesday, June 5th at 12 noon followed by an interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.    Donations in memory of Colleen may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
