Clinton John MacGorman

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Clinton (Butch) MacGorman, at the age of 62 on July 28th, 2026 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Clinton and Barbara (Mullett) MacGorman.

Clint was a beloved and treasured husband, brother, uncle and friend. Clint’s life was a testament to love, laughter and generosity.

Clint will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia McGarity, brother David (Brenda) MacGorman, sister Gayle MacGorman, and close cousin Glen MacGorman. He will also be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Clint spent his working career at Irving Paper Ltd and was a dedicated member of the Local 907 where he held positions within the executive. 

Clint was known for his generous spirit, always willing to help in any capacity he could. He enjoyed making other people laugh even (often) at his own expense. Even as a young child, Clint was selfless, always standing up for the underdog. Clint made friends easily. He cherished the time he spent playing spirited games of poker while sharing some great laughs and good-hearted ribbing with his lifelong core group of friends. When Clint was healthy, he could often be found singing Karaoke at Vitos on a Saturday night. 

Some of Clints favorite pastimes were listening to music and watching the Montreal Canadians games with his wife Pat. They shared a passion for travel and shared a love of animals.

The Family would like to extend a special thanks to all the medical staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital that cared for Clint over the last few years.

 As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Saint John SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug 1st, 2026, from 4pm until 7 pm.
