Christmas Memorial Service Obituary

To all who attended our Annual Memorial Candlelight Service—whether in person or virtually—thank you.

Long before our doors opened, our entire team felt both the weight and the tenderness of what this gathering represents.

Together, we lit candles symbolizing Absence, Sorrow, Gratitude, Connection, and Light.

These candles reminded us that grief is not a straight line.

It moves. It shifts.

It surprises us—sometimes with sorrow… and sometimes with grace.

We were reminded that even in the quietest moments of sorrow, light is still capable of reaching us— sometimes softly, sometimes unexpectedly, but always faithfully.

Because grief, for all its heaviness, cannot extinguish love.

And love, in all its quiet persistence, cannot help but shine.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Saint John Men’s Chorus, under the direction of Kelly Galbraith, with Collaborative Accompanist Emily Shute. Their ministry of music lifted this service beyond words and made it even more meaningful for all who gathered.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our entire team at Fundy Funeral Home for their care, compassion, and dedication—each and every day.

We often say within our walls that our staff is a family.

But the truth is this: Our family is only complete because of yours.

Serving you is not simply what we do—it is who we are.

And whenever you need us—whether for guidance, support, or simply a listening ear—we will always be here.
