Charles "Chuck" Leroy Dominie

With heavy hearts, the family of Chuck Dominie announces his passing, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on September 15, 2020. Chuck was born in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland on December 7, 1968; a son of Garfield and Marjorie (Seymour) Dominie, and the loving partner of Carole Levesque. Chuck worked for Arauco as a Paint Line Team Member. Along with his partner Carole, and his parents Marjorie and Garfield, Chuck is survived by his sons Joshua and Bailey, step-sons Anthony and Mathieu Levesque, brothers Paul Dominie (Amanda) and Marcelle Dominie (Marlene), the mother of his children, Teena Grant Dominie as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chuck was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Lorenzo and Ethel (Strickland) Seymour, and Harold and Bertha (Walters) Dominey.

Special thanks to the staff and volunteers of Bobby's Hospice. The kindness, compassion, love and support you offered Chuck and family were deeply felt and greatly appreciated. An extra special thanks to our families, relatives and friends near and far for being there and your support via visits, treats, messages and phone calls through this difficult time.  Your kindness will never be forgotten. 

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 p.m only. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.  Staff will be available at the main entrance of the funeral home to assist guests with social distancing measures when they arrive.  Please note that physical distancing restrictions will be observed during the gathering, and masks are strongly encouraged.
