Charles G. Leaman

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Charles Gregory Leaman, which occurred on Monday, January 26th, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on August 23rd, 1952, in Saint John, he is the son of the late Jarvis and Betsy Leaman.  Charles was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt.  He was kind and caring and he lived his life to the fullest.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Charles is survived by his two sons; Greg Leaman (Erica) and Tim Leaman of Saint John; brothers Victor Leaman (Judy) of Rothesay, Raymond Leaman (Christie) of Sussex; sister Rose Mary Galbraith (Jeff) of Grand Bay-Westfield; grandchildren Noah, Jaxon, Jaida and Nicholas; as well as nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with his parents, Charles was predeceased by his brothers Richard and Gilbert and sister Louise.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506) 646-2424.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 11:00 am at Mission Point Church, 130 Mark Drive, Saint John, NB.  Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
