It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Charles Albert Clark which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Born on March 30, 1938, in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Albert and Luella (Mason) Clark.
Charles spent many years working various positions at the Canadian Pacific Railway. He spent time volunteering at Lone Water Farm throughout the years and was an active member of River Valley Wesleyan Church. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, and picking fiddleheads. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Charles will always be remembered by his children Greg Clark (Sandra) of Howland Ridge, NB, Rhonda Brown (Mark) of Winnipeg, MB, Michelle Basque (Raymond) of Fredericton, NB, Darren Clark (Janel) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB; brother H. David Clark of Fredericton, NB; sisters Georgie Potter of Oromocto Lake, NB, Carolyn Davis of Woodstock, NB; sister-in-law Elizabeth Clark of Pembroke, NB; cherished grandchildren Brittany, Dustin, Jeremy, Rachelle, Bradley, Alexander, Kalie, Jaelyn and Luella; great grandson Declan; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by the love of his life, Dianne Clark, brother Basil Clark and brother-in-law Robert Potter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation will be held at the River Valley Wesleyan Church (45 Ridge Way, Grand Bay-Westfield) on Friday, May 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the church on Saturday, May 14 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be held in Brown’s Flat Baptist Church Cemetery.
