Carol Lee (Porter) Elliot

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Lee (Porter) Elliot which occurred peacefully at her home on Friday, April 7th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Born 1957, in Dartmouth, NS, she is the daughter of the late Randall and Emeline (MacBride) Porter.  Carol Lee worked for Irving Oil as an accountant for many years.  She loved spending time outdoors and was a member of the Saint John Outdoor Enthusiasts.  She enjoyed travelling, gardening, kayaking, and geocaching. “Everything she did, she did with gusto!” Carol Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Carol Lee is survived by her loving and devoted husband Gordon Elliot of 41 years; daughter Camilla Elliot of Halifax, NS; sisters Shelly Porter and her children Laura and Alex Porter-Muntz of Kentville, NS, Lori Ann Porter and her children Jamie and Owen Sherrard of Edmonton, AB, and Lisa Marie Porter-Dowd and Cory as well as their daughter Alexa Porter-Dowd of Fall River, NS.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  An informal gathering will take place in the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Centre on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 4 PM – 8 PM.  A Celebration of Carol Lee’s Life will take place at a later date to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carol Lee may be made to the Trans Canada Trail, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.
