Carol Lynne Dobson

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Lynne (Davidson) Dobson which occurred on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born 1947, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Jean (Kitchen) Davidson.  Carol worked in Administration for many years.  She was an avid reader who enjoyed baking, playing Nintendo Wii and family day card games.  Carol loved taking road trips to Ontario and spending time with her family and friends.  She will be missed by all who knew her.   

Carol is survived by her loving and devoted husband George of 56 years; daughter Tammy Dobson of Saint John; brothers Forde Davidson (Karen) of Elliot Lake, ON, Harry Davidson of Massey, ON; sisters Beryl Kostin (Gary) of Mississauga, ON, Karen Davidson of Saint John; granddaughter Heather Dobson; great grandchildren Marley and Mazikeen “Georgie”; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brothers Carl and Randy and sisters Susan and Heather.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, April 18th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, April 19th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carol may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue.
