Carmella Marie Ricketts

It is with great sorrow the family of Carmella Marie Ricketts announce her passing on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026.  Beloved wife of Peter Ricketts for over 40 years.  Her loss will be deeply felt by her children Nicole (Joel) Landers and Amanda Ricketts, by her grandchildren Morgan, Jamie, and Aidan and by her siblings Urbain Johnson, Rosaire Johnson, Omer (Jackie) Johnson, Rita Cyr, Azele (Jimmy) Saunders, Claudine (Nerie) Robichaud, Marielle Johnson, Aline Richard, Corinne (Keith) Clement and Robea Johnson as well as many other family members and friends.  Carmella is predeceased by her parents Adolphe and Virgine, by her brother Roger and sisters Marcia and Rose.

Carmella loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, she loved to cook and play games with them and she will be remembered for her infectious smile.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 18th from 5-7 PM.  A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Thursday, March 19th at 1:00 PM in the Fundy Chapel.  Interment Fernhill Cemetery.  For those that wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Bobby's Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
