With broken hearts, the family of Brooklyn Ruby Marie Nason announces her passing, which occurred on October 8, 2025, at her home. Born on October 5, 2000, she was the cherished daughter of Melissa Nason and the late George (Artie) Raynes.
Brooklyn had a kind and giving heart, and her laughter could light up any room. She deeply loved her family and was fiercely protective of those she cared for. Though she faced her own struggles in life, Brooklyn’s compassion shone through in her desire to help others.
With a wonderful sense of humor and a signature smirk when she knew she was being mischievous, Brooklyn brought joy to those around her. She was strong and independent, a little fragile at times, and truly unforgettable.
Brooklyn will be forever missed by her beloved son Arthur Raynes-Nason; her sisters Kayla Raynes, Jessica Hibbs, Robyn Hibbs, and Memphis Raynes; her brother Zayne Raynes; her grandmother Evelyn; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her grandparents Bud Raynes, Ruby Nason, Clarence Nason, and her Uncle Bud Raynes.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424), with visitation on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Fundy Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
