Brian Joseph Shaw

The family of Brian Joseph Shaw, of Saint John and Fredericton, are saddened to announce his sudden passing, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a brief illness, on January 25, 2017.  He was born in Saint John, NB on May 20, 1958, the eldest son of the late Clarence and Marion (Buote) Shaw.  Brian will be deeply missed and is survived by  brother Tony Shaw (Cathy) of Saint John;  sister Judy Jenkins (Rob Cameron) of Australia; sister Alveen of Ontario; step brothers and sister Murray, Llew, Allison, James, and Marilyn as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Along with his parents, Brian was predeceased by his step mother Iva Shaw.  Brian loved his family and friends unconditionally and whole heartedly.  He was that individual who would give you whatever he had, and do without.  He found happiness in the little things.  His interests included time spent with family and friends, listening to music, attending church and being a caregiver for his parents.  Brian greatly treasured the company of his little brother Tony, who looked out for him and who was without a doubt his best friend.
