It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brenda Ann Roy announces her passing, which occurred on Monday, March 7, 2022. Born in Saint John, on April 9, 1958, she was the daughter of Doris and Kenny Bailey and the late Lou Roy.
Brenda will be missed by her mother Doris Bailey (Kenny); sisters Betty-Lou Roy and Debbie Roy; honorary sister Shelley Kay (Dwayne); grandchildren Chris Jr, Brooklyn, Tylin and Noah; aunt and uncle Shirley and Dave Robichaud; niece Tammy Blinn; nephews David Blinn, Jeffery Roy and Logan Bowland; cousins Sam and Richard Mailman; the Connelly, Kay and Bailey families; special friends Jackie Beddow, Mike Clark, Eddie Sherwood, Janet Armstrong as well as many others.
Aside from her father, she was predeceased by her son Christopher Roy and her sister Hilda “Bug” Connelly.
Brenda had many hobbies in life. She was an avid gardener, she loved doing crafts and decorating, as well as going for walks in nature, shopping, travelling, boating and swimming. She was full of life and loved to make people laugh. She was a wild and free spirit, one of her favorite hobbies being cruising on a Harley, and she always put others first.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Fundy Funeral Home at 2:00 PM.
