Bob Murray

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert “Bob” Stephen Murray announce his passing on Friday November 12, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 20, 1950, he was the son of the late Stephen and Beryl (Losier) Murray. Bob worked in the car sales industry for many years, but his true vocation was music, having been a musician in a number of bands throughout his life. He enjoyed being a foster parent, nature and being close to the water.

He is survived by his companion Kathleen Johnson; his children John (Carolyn) Murray and Sarah (Steven) McDonald; grandchildren Luke, Dylan and Logan and his brothers Ken and Stephen.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. At his request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 192 Anglin Drive in Saint John on Wednesday November 17, 2021 from 2-4pm. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
