It is with sadness, but also with deep gratitude for her long and beautiful life, that the family of Margaret “Blanche” Yeoman announce her passing on October 20, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Blanche passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 95.
Born in Saint John on November 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Clara “Blanche” (Ward) Beyea. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, daughter Cheryl Bragg (Dennis) and brothers Charles (Shirley), Ronald (Bernice), Parker (Ada, Virginia), Cecil (Betty), Graham “Bunny” (Elva), Murray (Valerie), and sister Frances Lance (Wilfred).
Blanche will be lovingly remembered by her son Allan Yeoman (Susan), son-in-law Dennis Bragg, grandchildren Cory Graham (Heather), Connor Yeoman (Meagan), Abby Campbell, and Nicholas Bragg, and great-granddaughter Aylah Campbell, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family who cherished her deeply.
Blanche’s working life began in the 1940s, when she held various clerical positions in the insurance industry. After staying home to raise her family, she continued to pour her energy into helping others, taking a position within the school system where she found joy in working with special needs children.
A woman of quiet strength and grace, Blanche was devoted to her Christian faith, remaining steadfast in her trust in God—especially through illness. A long-time member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, her faith was the cornerstone of her life.
She found great happiness in gardening, especially tending to her flowers, and took immense pride in her home and family. A true and devoted mother and grandmother, she went above and beyond for those she loved. Blanche was known for her kindness and warmth—a sweet soul who left a lasting impression on everyone she met, including many nurses, care takers, and friends who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Joseph’s Care Home and the Palliative Care Department for their exceptional compassion and care shown to Mom.
Visitation will be at held at Fundy Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, between the hours of 6-8 PM. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 27th at 11:00 AM in the Fundy Chapel with Rev. Dr. Roger Graham officiating. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
