Betty Lou Guimond

It is with great sadness the family of Betty Lou Guimond wishes to announce her passing which occurred on May 27, 2025.  Born July 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna (Stevens) Guimond.

Betty Lou had worked with Simms Brush Factory.  She was active with the Ladies Auxiliary of the RCL Branch #64, local senior citizen groups, and the Stephenson Tower Tenants Association. 

She is survived by her sons; Richard Andrew Lee (Wanda) and Tony Chisholm, her daughters; Peggy Landry (Richard) and Mary Wilbur (Brad), brothers, Anthony  and Dan Guimond, sisters; Connie Guimond and Jane Guimond, several grandchildren and great- grandchildren along with her nieces, Alyssa and Grace Lowe.

Betty Lou loved her pets and will be missed by her favorite fur friend Sally.

She was predeceased by her daughter Betty Lee, grandson Adrian Lee, brothers; William, Ernst and Boyd Guimond, sister, Kim Guimond and her nephew Robbie Lowe whom she was very close with. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road 506-646-2424.  Following cremation, she will be placed with her daughter and grandson at Fernhill Cemetery.  Remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
